Milton F. Gonzalez, Founding Partner at his family-owned law practice, Gonzalez & Jones, APC, has made a career, life, and reputation by fiercely fighting for his clients and helping them through very difficult situations.
With a successful career spanning over 40 years and thousands of cases, Milton has built his professional legacy grounded in a commitment to two core values – assertive strategy and authentic client relationships.
Strategically, Milton’s extensive criminal and civil trial experience span all levels of California state and federal courts and equip him to practice a logical, problem-solving approach, keen attention to detail, and a passion for protecting his clients’ rights. His experience also includes working for ten years as a Conflicts Attorney for Santa Clara County, is a certified pro tem judge, and served as a pro tem judge for the Santa Clara County Superior Court.
In relationships, Milton’s clients spare no superlatives in describing him, including “exceptional.” His passion and fierce determination in achieving the best result impress clients. They also characterize him as caring, reassuring, direct, timely, and compassionate. To Milton, nothing comes before putting his clients at ease so they can continue with their lives, while he handles the case.
Outside of his successful legal career, Milton is most proud to be the patriarch and guide to his family. Milton and his wife Donna — the Office Manager — set up the law firm when Milton was just out of law school. They have been a stalwart team through the years, both in business and in their personal lives. There is no greater testament to their success as professionals and parents than the fact that their daughter Zoi and son-in-law Kyle are now part of the family business.
